Stage Makeup & Face paint
Sabrina is experienced in applying both water-based face paint and oil-based makeup, and has designed narrative makeup for several theatrical productions.
Hamlet
This production of Hamlet produced at Littleton Town Hall Arts Center was set in the late 90s early 2000s grunge era when dark eyliner and moody beauty marks where staples of makeup. This lent itself perfectly to Sabrina's dramatic design which mirrored the work of the costume designer in color and shape for each character and gave a diffrent aspect to each of the four Hamlets.
The painting on model Caitlin Roberti is created using water-based colors over several hours and touches on the themes of divinity and the purpose of human life and body. Different cultures have used geometry and the color wheel to explore these questions, using colors to symbolize different aspects of human life and the search for divine appreciation.

Blue Beastie With Burns
Sabrina used various makeup techniques such as colored skin with contouring, exaggerated eyeliner, false lash application, tissue burn techniques, and blood to create the Beastie look. The Beastie was portrayed as injured from a clash with a colonist who didn't approve of its appetite, with the evidence of the injury showing through dripping blood from its jaw.
Lady Amalthea Cosplay Makeup
Sabrina also has experience recreating iconic makeup looks and converting animated characters like the Lady Amalthea from The Last Unicorn into real life makeup looks as seen here on model Cameron Berry. Sabrina used traditional makeup techniques from foundation to eye shadow to enlarge the eyes, soften and contour the features and color the lips and cheeks to match the reference. And of course a little water based paint to create the signature star representing Lady Amalthea's invisible unicorn's horn on their forehead.
